Toms Ice Cream Bowl in Zanesville

Mike had a fried bologna sandwich and we shared an order of fresh cut 🍟.Vety good and I had a single scoop of salted caramel and Mike had 🍑. Generous servings, young efficient and friendly staff and bought fresh roasted peanuts to have at home. Eat in or outdoor tables and social distancing and sanitizing.

Totally Awesome place. Good Food,Great Candy and Nuts.. Super Ice Cream Flavors. Eat inside or Picnic outside in the shade.

Love the original building and decor...is like stepping back in time to enjoy a good, old fashioned ice cream creation. The banana caramel sundae was delish!

Limited seating is available inside at this time, but there is outdoor seating available too. Ice cream was fantastic so we're the nuts that we took to go. Tom's is an institution! You must try it!

The employees were very nice and service was cheerful and kind. The ice cream was ok, not as good as in prior years, but still good. Serving size was smaller than expected. Value was just average for a good dessert.

I have loved this place since the 60s. I used to live down the street from here and would collect my coins until I could afford to buy a bag of Spanish peanuts. Pure heaven. The ice cream was fantastic. I remember a Lemon Chip flavor that was my favorite. I have long since moved away, several times, and I still order nuts once in a while. The last time I was in Zanesville I stopped in and went back in time. You have to visit and try the ice cream. It is a wonderful place to stop.

Love this place! Awesome ice cream and the selection of nuts and candies is also excellent. Only had food from there once but it was also very good.

Imagine taking a break from the current environment and traveling back 70 years to the 1950s. This is what a trip to Toms Ice Cream Bowl can be likened to. The burgers and fries are great. Ice Cream is amazing. And the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. Be sure to grab some roasted Spanish peanuts or cashews for your ride home. Highly recommended!Please ‘Like’ if this review is helpful

This place is awesome. Very reasonably priced, great portions (I'm a big dude and it was all I could do to get a regular 2 dip sundae down). The girls that are serving the outside seating area are excellent!! We live an hour away and it's our new favorite Sunday drive spot.

The food was good and hit the spot. I also got a hot fudge sundae and it was delicious! It's a really cute little place with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great and everyone who worked there was wearing a mask/gloves, and kept social distancing in mind. Our server even brought out a little bowl of water for our dog. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Tom's is a legend in these parts, so I hate to post a negative experience. Our lunch was not the best. My wife got a chili hot dog that was just plain bad. My hot ham and cheese was OK. Maybe just a bad day. But hey, let's be honest, you come to Tom's for dessert and a fun atmosphere. This place is like a classic old ice cream parlor. The ice cream was great and the staff did very well. You can sit inside or the have some tables outside. They also sell candy and nuts by the pound. It is very good. If in the Zanesville area, worth checking out.

Great tasting ice cream. Huge portions. Historic, hometown, local touches. Partner with Kennedy's Bakery in Cambridge for their brownie sundae, as well as local Conn's Potatoes Chips for Conn's new sugar cinnamon chips atop cinnamon ice cream. Not for the faint of heart, fir this dish is as decadent as they come.
